About Us
Monika and Nick, both originally from Switzerland established Des Alpes Swiss Restaurant in 1993 .Nick, a qualified Swiss trained Chef, has worked in various countries like Sweden and South Africa, and then cooked for the Sydney Sheraton Hotel and at the Gold Coast. He met Monika, a former Flight Attendant and Restaurant Manager, while holidaying in Switzerland, and together, they realised their vision to bring the tastes of European cuisine closer to Australia.

They since had 3 children, Belinda, Timothy and Jessica; who love to come in and help!
Raising 3 children and keep running the business smoothly can be a challenge sometimes, but with the help of their wonderful staff; they managed beautifully, ensuring lots of regular customers who love to come back to the consistent quality of excellent food and service at Des Alpes.
